Welcome to Step by Step Chiropractic, Massage, and Skin Care ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at www.stepbystepmassage.com and the therapeutic, chiropractic, massage, skin care, and body therapy services we provide at our location in Alpharetta, Georgia. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

We offer the following health and wellness services:

• Chiropractic care (spinal adjustments, evaluations, and corrective treatment)
• Therapeutic, deep tissue, medical, sports, and relaxation massage
• Skin care treatments (facials, needle-free fillers, chemical peels)
• Body therapies (ionic foot baths, ultrasonic cavitation, RF body contouring, detox wraps)

Our services are intended for general wellness and therapeutic purposes and do not replace the advice of your primary care physician or specialist.

2. Appointments & Scheduling

• All services are provided by appointment only. Walk-ins are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
• Appointments may be booked online through our website, by phone at (770) 363-3193, or via email.
• Online bookings require a 20% deposit at the time of scheduling. The remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit.
• Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment (no-show) will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
• Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a requirement to prepay in full for future appointments.

4. Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may be shortened to accommodate the next client. The full session fee will still apply. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to treat the appointment as a no-show.

5. Health & Medical Disclaimer

• Our services are complementary health treatments and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Always consult your physician regarding any medical conditions.
• You are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information on your intake form. Failure to disclose relevant health conditions, allergies, medications, or pregnancy may affect the safety and efficacy of treatment.
• Chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, and body treatments involve inherent risks, including but not limited to soreness, bruising, and in rare cases, injury. By receiving services, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
• Certain conditions may be contraindicated for specific treatments. Our practitioners reserve the right to modify or decline a treatment based on your health history.

6. Intake Forms & Informed Consent

New clients are required to complete an intake form before their first appointment. This form collects your health history, current conditions, and emergency contact information. By completing the intake form and receiving services, you provide informed consent for treatment. You may withdraw consent at any time during a session.

7. Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash.
• Online bookings are processed through our secure payment system. A 20% deposit is charged at booking with the remainder due at your appointment.
• We do not directly bill insurance. However, we can provide receipts and documentation (including CPT codes for chiropractic and medical massage) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
• Gift certificates and promotional codes are subject to their specific terms and conditions and are non-refundable.

8. Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and no-shows. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us within 48 hours. We will work with you to address your concerns, which may include a complimentary follow-up session at our discretion. Refunds for completed services are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

9. Scope of Practice

All services are performed by licensed and/or certified practitioners within their respective scopes of practice as defined by the State of Georgia. Our chiropractor is licensed by the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Our massage therapists hold valid Georgia massage therapy licenses. Our estheticians are licensed by the Georgia Board of Cosmetology and Barbers.

10. Client Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and professional environment for all clients and staff. Any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to sexual harassment, verbal abuse, or intoxication, will result in immediate termination of the session without refund, and may result in being permanently banned from our practice.

11. Services for Minors

Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during treatment and must have a signed consent form on file. The parent or guardian is responsible for providing accurate health information and for payment of services.

12. Website & Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Step by Step Chiropractic, Massage, and Skin Care and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, Step by Step Chiropractic, Massage, and Skin Care, its owners, employees, and independent contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Step by Step Chiropractic, Massage, and Skin Care from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to provide accurate health information.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
